Faculty And Staff

Full Time Faculty
Cheryl graduated from Loma Linda University with a B.S. and later earned an M.A. in education and educational administration from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI.  She has been the teacher and principal at H.A.S. since 1988 and has seen the school grow from the first group of seven students to sixty or so in recent years.  She has a professional teaching certificate with endorsements in elementary education and high school and junior high endorsements in Bible, math, health, science, P.E., art and life skills.  She teaches middle school math, high school health & P.E., high school life skills and serves as the school's principal.

Bobbi graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.A. in English and elementary education.  She has an elementary teaching certificate with high school endorsements in English, Bible, and science.  She has taught at H.A.S. since 1990 or so and currently is the 1-4 homeroom teacher and high school English teacher.   She also oversees production of the school yearbook.

Stacy is a 2013 graduate of Southern Adventist University with a B.A. in elementary education and holds K-8 certification.  She joined our staff in January of 2014 and is the middle school (grades 5-8) homeroom teacher, director of the school choir, and school worship leader. 


Chad is an experienced high school teacher and coach.  He has taught in Montana, Boston, and New Mexico.  He has coached a variety of sports.  Chad has a B.S. from Southern Adventist University and is certified in many high school subject areas.  Chad teaches P.E. and coaches after-school intramurals, teaches history, Bible, health, and construction.
