Jeremy Jacko, Class of 1997
Jeremy Jacko and his wife, Becca Herr Jacko, are beginning their third year at Highland Adventist School.  Jeremy has returned to teach high school Bible, history, and math.  After earning his bachelor's degree at Southwestern Adventist University, Jeremy served as a pastor in the Mountain View Conference for several years.  After earning his masters at Andrews University, he and Becca (who is a registered nurse), moved to Elkins to teach at H.A.S.  What a great addition they make to the faculty!  Becca, in addition to her nursing responsibilities at the local hospital, serves as the school's orchestra director and string instructor.  Jeremy also is the technology director for the school.

Jeremy Blanzy, Class of 2000
Jeremy and his wife Hannah live in Chatanooga, Tennessee.  Jeremy, after several years working in retail marketing, has returned to school to earn his degree in nursing.  Hannah is a graphic designer.  Jeremy is an avid golfer and frisbee golfer.  Jeremy and Hannah recently visited Elkins and stopped by the school to say hello.

Curtis Green, Class of 2004
Curtis stopped by the school following graduation weekend recently.  He played the cello in the Green family string trio for the H.A.S. high school graduation.  Curtis has just finished up his masters degree in music education.

Rebekah Ruediger, Grace Whetsell, Stacy Blanzy, Class of 2009
Rebekah, Grace and Stacy, who have been classmates for the past 8 years, are all headed to Southern Adventist University for college.  They just graduated from H.A.S. and had a fabulous graduation ceremony.  Stacy is majoring in education, Rebekah in nursing, and Grace undecided.  Southern had better watch out--these girls will take the campus by storm!

Matthew Ruediger, Class of 2009
Matthew, the only male member of our graduating class, also just graduated and is headed for the Fred W. Eberle Technical Center majoring in diesel technology.  We are proud that Matthew and all of our 2009 graduating class are pursuing further education.
